We sailed into beautiful Sydney Harbor early in the morning and docked right in front of the Opera House, quite an inspiring work of art in its own right. As we entered the harbor, the ship’s choir sang “Waltzing Matilda” to celebrate our arrival into Australia. And we waltzed right off the ship into a lovely city. We walked over to the Opera House and then around the botanical garden, which is huge and delightful. It is a huge, green space in the midst of the big city. We spent the day in the gardens. Unfortunately the temperature reached 100 degrees, so we were hot and tired by the time we got back to the ship in the afternoon. But, as you can see from the pictures, we had a fine day.
Blessings,
