These girls are tired, but happy. They are tired because they have just spent thirteen hours on airplanes. We flew seven hours from Singapore to Dubai, spent about two hours in the Dubai airport, and then flew another six hours to Munich. It was an exhausting day. But it was also an exciting day.
We go to experience real winter! In fact, it was cold, and there was snow. For our California girls, that was a real treat. The snow was really interesting for them, and it was nice to be away from the hot, sticky weather that we had been trying to get used to.
In the picture, Camden and Kloee are having their first ride on Munich’s S-Bahn, the suburban commuter train. It is very convenient, so we used it a lot.
